Users must be 18+ years of age to play and deposit (19+ in Nebraska) and all users must have only 1 account. If a user is found to be less than 18 years old, their account will be banned and all their entries will be canceled and refunded. If a user is found to have more than 1 account, they will be subject to a ban at Boom’s discretion.
Currently, Boom is available in the following states:
Alaska, Alabama, District of Columbia, California, Florida, Massachusetts, Georgia, Illinois, Wyoming, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin.
Boom reserves the right to restrict or refuse users for any reason without an explanation.
If a user is discovered to be violating or exploiting Boom's policies and/or terms of service, their accounts will be terminated, funds forfeited, and any unauthorized funds can be seized by Boom.
Cancellations
Each question cancellation reduces the amount of scored questions within an entry and regresses the entry payout down a pick.
• 5 picks in an entry regress to 4 picks
• 4 picks in an entry regress to 3 picks
• 3 picks in an entry regress to 2 picks
• If an entry has 2 picks remaining and one gets canceled, then the entry will be canceled and refunded.
After each cancellation the entry gets revalidated to make sure there is a valid amount of picks left and that the remaining eligible picks are all from 2 different teams. Entries that fail to meet these qualifications as a result of a cancellation will be canceled and refunded.
Questions where a player did not play are equal to cancellations. In the event of a player not playing in a matchup question, the entire question will be canceled. Below are the conditions for an inactive player:
• NFL/ CFB - if a player doesn't play a snap.
• NBA - if a player plays 0 minutes.
• MLB - if a player isn’t in the starting lineup (excluding pitchers). If a pitcher does not start but does enter the game in relief, that pitcher is considered active.
• NHL - if a player does not have at least 1 second time on ice (skater), if a player doesn’t start (goalie).
• Soccer - if a player doesn’t start.
• Tennis - if a player doesn't start the match.
• MMA/Boxing - if a player doesn't start the fight/match.
Inactivity is subject to duration asked in the question (e.g, 1st Half, 2nd Half, etc). Shortened games that are deemed “official games” will be scored as usual.
If a game is postponed, questions for the game will be canceled. Boom may also cancel all questions for a game that has been suspended depending on the duration and time of the postponement.
Ties
Ties are considered as eligible questions. Each tied question regresses the entry payout down a pick.
• 5 picks in an entry regress to 4 picks
• 4 picks in an entry regress to 3 picks
• 3 picks in an entry regress to 2 picks
• If an entry has 2 picks remaining where one is correct and the other is a tie, the user is subject to a payout. However, if an entry has 2 picks remaining where one is a tie and the other is incorrect then the entry won’t have a payout. If all eligible picks in an entry are tied then the user will be refunded their entry fee.
Cancellations rules supersede ties in the event both occur in an entry.
With Coverage, you are able to win even if one of your picks misses the mark. To play, enter the minimum required picks and turn on the Coverage toggle before submitting your entry.
Coverage Pay Table:
• 5/5 correct picks - 10x
• 4/5 correct picks - 2x
• 3/5 correct picks - 0.4x
• 4/4 correct picks - 5x
• 3/4 correct picks - 1.5x
• 3/3 correct picks - 2.25x
• 2/3 correct picks - 1.25x

For example:
• A 5 pick entry (10x) with a tie or cancellation will regress to a 4 pick entry (5x)•
A 5 pick entry (10x) with two ties or cancellations will regress to a 3 pick entry (2.25x)

In the event of a tie or cancellation with a 3 pick coverage entry, the submission will turn into a regular 2 pick entry.

If your entry lost because one of your picks went down early with an injury, we have your back! With Boom’s Rescue refund, any entry that lost because of a Rescue pick can be redeemed up to 5x the initial entry fee in bonus funds.
For example, a $10, 8 pick entry loses because of an Over pick. Such as C.McCaffrey rushing yards losing because he got hurt in the 1st quarter and didn't return which means the pick was unable to achieve the Over. For this, you'd get back $50 (5x your entry fee) in bonus funds!
Which entry types fall under the policy?
All Pick’em entries with 3+ picks will be evaluated for a Rescue refund. This includes Regular and Coverage entries. Pick & Spin and Squad Ride entries aren’t eligible for a Rescue refund.
Here is how it works:
3 picks = 2x
4-5 picks = 3x
6+ picks = 5x
If a Coverage entry received a payout and did not lose after a Rescued pick then it does not qualify for a refund. For example, a 4 pick Coverage entry whose 1 incorrect pick was a Rescue will not be refunded and will be played for the remaining multiplier on the entry.
In the event a pick other than the rescue is tied or canceled, the refund will be evaluated based on the remaining correct and incorrect selections. For example, with 1 cancelation or tie:
3 pick entry regresses to 2 pick = No refund
And 4 pick entry regresses to 3 pick = 2x rescue refund
If the entire entry was canceled then it is not eligible for a Rescue Refund. Any entry where a Risk-Free Token was applied is not eligible for a Rescue Refund.
What qualifies as a Rescued pick?If a pick met the following criteria and caused your entry to lose then you would be eligible for a refund:
NFL:
The player in your pick is removed from the game in the 1st half due to injury and does not return in the 2nd half to play an offensive snap.
The pick was an OVER on the player’s projection.
The projection on the pick was for a full game. 1st Half, 2nd Half, 4th Quarter, and season long questions do not qualify.
The player did not exceed their projection.If your pick tied the projection then it does not qualify.
The pick was for a regular season or post season game.
The pick was for an offensive player projection. Defensive picks and kickers do not get Rescued.
Your pick doesn’t qualify if:
The selected pick is an UNDER for a projection.
Any UNDER picks related to the affected player will continue to be graded as a win if the player falls below their projection.
If your pick got benched or ejected from the game.
NBA/WNBA:
The player in your pick is removed from the game in the 1st half due to injury and records 0 minutes in the 2nd half.
The pick was an OVER on the player’s projection.
The projection on the pick was for a full game. 1st Half, 2nd Half, 4th Quarter, and season long questions do not qualify.
The pick for your player did not exceed its projection.
If your pick tied the projection then it does not qualify.
The pick was for a regular season or post season game.Includes NBA In-Season tournament, NBA post-season games, NBA Regular season games.Does NOT include the All-Star Game or other events happening during the all-star weekend
The pick doesn’t qualify if:
The selected pick is an UNDER for a projection. Any UNDER picks related to the affected player will continue to be graded as a win if the player falls below their projection. If your pick got benched or ejected from the game.
MLB
The player in your pick is a batter that records 2 or less Plate Appearances.
The pick was an OVER on the player’s projection.
The projection on the pick was for a full game.
The player did not exceed their projection.If your pick tied the projection then it does not qualify.
The pick was for a regular season or post season game.
The pick doesn’t qualify if:
The selected pick is an UNDER for a projection.
Any UNDER picks related to the affected player will continue to be graded as a win if the player falls below their projection.
Your pick got benched or ejected from the game
Your pick includes pitching statistics.
CFB
The player plays on a Top 25 team. Top 25 is defined by AP Rankings until the CFP Rankings are released.
The player in your pick is removed from the game in the 1st half due to injury and does not return in the 2nd half to play an offensive snap.
The pick was an OVER on the player’s projection.
The projection on the pick was for a full game.1st Half, 2nd Half, 4th Quarter, and season long questions do not qualify.
The player did not exceed their projection.

When will I see my refund?
We’ll refund you in bonus funds after all picks and stats have been verified, the verification time frame is within 30 minutes upon all contests in your entry finalizing.
Expect your bonus funds within 12 hours of your entry being finalized in your contest history.
